मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने मंगलवार को परेड ग्राउण्ड, देहरादून में 38वें राष्ट्रीय खेल-2025 के अन्तर्गत आयोजित बैडमिंटन प्रतियोगिता का अवलोकन किया। इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री ने विजेता खिलाडियों को मेडल पहनाकर सम्मानित किया। मुख्यमंत्री ने विभिन्न राज्यों से आए खिलाड़ियों से मुलाकात कर उनका उत्साहवर्धन भी किया।
38वें राष्ट्रीय खेल के अंतर्गत उत्तराखंड के सूर्यांश रावत एवं तमिलनाडु के सतीश कुमार के बीच मेन्स सिंगल बैडमिंटन प्रतियोगिता का फाइनल मैच खेला गया। जिसमें 21/21 , 21/17 से तमिलनाडु के सतीश कुमार ने विजय प्राप्त की। मुख्यमंत्री ने मेन्स सिंगल बैडमिंटन प्रतियोगिता के विजेता तमिलनाडु के सतीश कुमार को गोल्ड, दूसरे स्थान पर आए उत्तराखंड के सूर्यांश रावत को सिल्वर मेडल पहनाकर सम्मानित भी किया।
मुख्यमंत्री ने जाने, खिलाड़ियों के अनुभव
मुख्यमंत्री ने विभिन्न राज्यों से आए खिलाड़ियों से बातचीत कर 38वें राष्ट्रीय खेलों के बारे में उनके अनुभव भी जाने। खिलाड़ियों ने उत्तराखंड के नैसर्गिक सौंदर्य की जमकर तारीफ की।

38वें राष्ट्रीय खेल आयोजित करना राज्य के प्रत्येक नागरिक के लिए सौभाग्य की बात
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि 38 वे राष्ट्रीय खेलों का आयोजित करना, हमारे राज्य के प्रत्येक नागरिक के लिए सौभाग्य की बात है। हमारा राज्य अब देवभूमि के साथ खेल भूमि के रूप में भी जाना जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा राष्ट्रीय खेलों को लेकर राज्य भर में खेलों की अवस्थापना सुविधाओं के विकास के लिये महत्वपूर्ण कार्य हुए हैं। कई खेल मैदानों को विकसित किया गया है। इससे भविष्य में भी खिलाड़ियों को बेहतर सुविधाएं उपलब्ध होंगी।
मुख्यमंत्री ने राज्यवासियों से राष्ट्रीय खेलों का अवलोकन कर खिलाड़ियों का उत्साहवर्धन करने का आग्रह किया। उन्होंने कहा हम युवाओ को अधिक से अधिक खेलों की ओर आगे बढ़ना है। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि राष्ट्रीय खेलों के आयोजन से उत्तराखण्ड की समृद्ध सांस्कृतिक विरासत एवं पारम्परिक लोक संस्कृति, खानपान से भी देश भर के खिलाडी परिचित हो रहे हैं।
इस अवसर पर विधायक खजान दास, उपाध्यक्ष अवस्थापना अनुश्रवण परिषद विश्वास डाबर, प्रमुख सचिव आर के सुधांशु, विशेष प्रमुख सचिव खेल अमित सिन्हा, एवं अन्य लोग मौजूद रहे।
